1. Acceptance of Terms

By using therestrx.com or ordering medical equipment from The Rest Rx ("we," "us," or "The Rest Rx"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. About The Rest Rx

The Rest Rx is a Medicare-enrolled Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) supplier based in Maryland. We provide medical equipment for patients with valid physician prescriptions, including lymphedema pumps, wound VAC supplies, compression garments, and related products.

3. Prescription Requirement

Most medical equipment we supply requires a valid prescription from a licensed prescribing provider. We will not dispense prescription-required equipment without a valid signed physician order, medical necessity documentation as required by Medicare or your insurer, and prior authorization where required by your insurance plan. You authorize The Rest Rx to communicate with your prescribing provider to obtain or clarify orders.

4. Insurance and Billing

The Rest Rx accepts Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and several commercial and Medicaid plans. We will verify your insurance coverage before delivery, submit claims to your insurance company, and inform you of your estimated out-of-pocket cost before delivery. You are responsible for deductibles, copays, and coinsurance per your insurance benefits; items not covered (when informed in advance); and self-pay charges for elected services.

5. Medicare Supplier Standards

The Rest Rx complies with the 30 Medicare Supplier Standards (42 CFR § 424.57). A complete copy of the Standards is provided to every Medicare beneficiary at delivery and is available on request.

6. Delivery, Setup, and Education

Upon delivery you will receive:

• Setup of the equipment as appropriate

• Patient education on use, care, and troubleshooting

• Written instructions and warranty documentation

• Contact information for ongoing support

You are responsible for being available (or designating an authorized recipient) at the scheduled delivery time, providing accurate delivery address and access information, caring for equipment per the manufacturer's instructions, and notifying us of any malfunction or damage promptly.

7. Warranty, Returns, and Refunds

• Defective equipment — replaced or refunded at no cost to you, per Medicare supplier standards

• Manufacturer warranty — we honor all manufacturer warranties on equipment we supply

• Returns of unused items — returns of unused, unopened, non-prescription items in original packaging may be accepted within [TIMEFRAME] days; sanitary and prescription items are generally non-returnable for safety reasons

• Rental returns — rented equipment must be returned in the condition received, normal wear excepted

8. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the equipment only as prescribed

• Notify us of any malfunctions, damage, or changes in your medical condition

• Comply with prescribing provider follow-up requirements

• Maintain insurance coverage to the extent possible

• Pay your portion of charges

9. Affiliated Entities

The Rest Rx is part of a portfolio of healthcare entities. We may receive referrals from and coordinate with Woundworx (affiliated mobile wound care clinical practice) and Care Connection Home Support (affiliated personal care agency). When affiliated entities refer to us, we disclose the affiliation in writing and inform you of your right to choose any Medicare-enrolled DMEPOS supplier.

10. Website Use

You may use therestrx.com for lawful purposes related to learning about our services and contacting us. You may not attempt unauthorized access to any portion of the site, use automated tools to scrape data, or transmit harmful code.

11. No Medical Advice

The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. We supply equipment ordered by your physician; clinical decisions remain with your prescribing provider. In a medical emergency, call 911.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content is the property of The Rest Rx or its content suppliers. You may not reproduce content without our permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Our website is provided "as is." Products supplied are warranted in accordance with manufacturer warranties and Medicare supplier standards. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for matters that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Maryland.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance.
